Nice, Jud.
Starting to see some knots on headgear down here in my semi rural neighborhood, just yesterday I saw a blacktail buck walking down the shoulder on the local road.. 4 point, western count.... the length of the horns were 10 to 12 inches... full bodied, probably a 150 lb blacktail... walking down the shoulder without a care in the world...

One of my favorite memories was scouting with a former brother-in-law and seeing a blacktail fawn take its first steps. Very few people ever get to see that.

I was out today looking at some timber and a mule deer doe came running toward me,, it was trying to scare me off, it looked pizzed off, I scurried away...It might of had a fawn or it might of been all worked up about a bear hanging around,, not sure.

We arrived here in north Idaho at 3 or so today. Around 5 the turkeys came through and about an hour later three young bucks just sprouting into their second branch stayed for a bit then moved on.

Lotta whitetail fawns dropped the previous 2 weeks or so around here. Already seen probably half a dozen that met trouble on the road/shoulder.

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
