Maybe we need a voter registration tax.
That's make their heads explode. +100 !!! It was called a Poll Tax. Keyword “was”. Courts struck it down. Been gone quite a while. But yeah, they’d squeal like the little pigs they are. I can remember my parents, in the early 1950's, talking about being sure they paid their "poll tax"! It was "designed" to keep poor black people from voting....and guess what? It was enacted by (D)'s!

So if you replace the pistol grip and forearm with walnut and have the receiver a gloss black is it still an "assault rifle"? It is pretty easy to change the looks of a plain, birch stock 10-22.

Foundational law:
#1. You can't tax a right because the power to tax is the power to destroy. Rights are not granted by Government but are given by God. Government can't usurp God's power (unless people fail at foundational principal #2 below.)
#2 Failure to assert a right in timely fashion is fatal and waives the right.
#3 All lawful taxation can only be levied on privilege's and never on rights.
So going along with unlawful taxation is the sigh of ignorance and/or cowardice.
(Note: It's the Bill of RIGHTS, not a bill of privileges. All cops should understand theses principals of law , but VERY FEW do)
