Worked w some masters and PHD that were good people and good at their jobs

Worked with some that were worthless all the way around.

GM used to have non degreed engineers, worked with some.good ones.

EE and computer guys were the insecure back stabbing screw ups. Suckasses too.

Very, very few. The oil and gas industry does not tolerate incompetence.

I was wondering where the engineers in the Public Works Department I worked for came from.
We had plenty of incompetent's.

Those that can't cut it or even be hired in the private sector go work for the public sector and that's not just engineers.

I have a close friend who is a very successful engineer in the aerospace business. He makes a nice living figuring out how to fix the fuckups the blue-collar production/mechanic supermen who know everything make.

I have done jobs with several good ones but every once in a while you come across one like this.

There are a bunch of them. Most have some bad habits.
