It will be interesting to see what this does to the obscene prices of the used ones.

I always liked the Hawkeye All Weather, have owned a few. Just about to get another one but in .338WM. I've owned some rifles that I "just couldn't make myself" take to the wet mountains, ha. I won't mind taking this one at all. Back in 2007, I had a joint replaced in my right wrist. Doc tried to tell me I was done shooting anything right handed, Turns out he was full of hockey doo-doo, ha. But while healing, I had a new All Weather in 338 Federal braked and set up nice. it was a kitten. My SIL killed a nice MD with it. His buddy uses a 338 Fed but in a Tikka, very comparable hunting rifles. My SIL used the 200 NAB and his friend uses the 185 TSX. I never hunted with ti, just shot it some. A few years back, I sold it to buy a new Mod 700 Classic in 338WM. Just too durn nice to take afield, I traded it to a good friend. I don't care what he does with it, I just know my fevered OCD brain couldn't enjoy being in the rain with it, or a white-out during elk season out here, ha. Come on All Weather!

Is their any room on these for a little heavier barrel? I realize that defeats the purpose of why it was designed but was just wondering.

I advertised my walnut-stocked AW .223 locally a couple of weeks ago at “internet” price and haven’t had a nibble, so I suppose the alleged dearth of .223 bolt-actions isn’t a problem around here. Seems to be AR country, based on what I see at the public range, and maybe Savage country.
What fresh Hell is this?

It's funny how it seems like many people on the fire complained about the stainless M77 Hawkeyes not being offered by Ruger anymore , since a couple of years back. Now Ruger is offering them again, but from the consensus on the fire here it appears people are not jumping on them because they are too expensive. Prices are up on about all guns. When Ruger turns off the tap again, you will hear those same people piss'n and moaning about not being able to get stainless Hawkeyes anymore. RJ

Yikes...I would love one but I'm scared to see the Canadian pricing when they make it up here.
Still, probably a "buy once, cry once" proposition.

My .308 AW is one of the last rifles I could see letting go. I thought about reboring it to .358, but I am sitting on a pile of stuff for .308 that will run this rifle for my grandchildren, once the kids hand it down. Only thing I am needing are some 110-130 weight bullets to try in it. Loaded down with 150 bt and 165 and 180 Power points, but interested in trying some 130 and 110 ttsx and 125 AB loads. That rifle and its 1-4x and 3-9x SS scopes covers every bit of large game hunting I am ever likely to do, with little fear of failure.

Currently I've got a Hawkeye stainless with wood and laminate stock, stainless scout rifle 308 laminate, stainless hawkeye 338win and two 375 stainless Hawkeyes. Got a few blued models too, and yes sir they're left hand models. My 270 Hawkeye is a bit heavy but it's really fun to shoot and easy to shoot. Beside the 308win this 270 is the one I've had real success with factory ammo and really good result with my own loaded ammo 3ven though I'm not the best reloaded. I wish there were more lefty options but they're really hard to find.

Looking at Gun Broker, there are about 5 different merchants selling these. Almost certainly new production. The Ruger website doesn't show them. I certainly hope they are new production guns. I rank them highly! OMG!!!! Yes! Take one of these any day over some Model 700 pile of crap....

Well, I talked with at least one Canadian retailer who has a bunch on order. Dangit looks like I'm selling a kidney lol. If they are making 6.5 CM rifles that aren't ultralights that is.

Have they started making these again and just not listing them on their website? Saw one yesterday in 308. Has that cheap looking plastic stock, barrel looked like a stainless steel drinking straw. Had a new tag and was marked $995 I think? Seems a little high for those things. This looked like the one CDNN was closing out a few years back for $399. If it a Bell & Carlson stock like on the Model 70 then it might be a $995 rifle but CDNN’s closeout price seemed more appropriate. Am I missing someone? They had a used Model 70 Extreme Weather MB in 6.5 Creedmoor for the same price. It looked and felt like 3 times the rifle. They had a CA Mesa, a Vanguard stainless. Out of all of them that Hawkeye felt like the cheapest feeling one and I wasn’t expecting that. Where did you see it? It's interesting the perception that two different people can have of the same product. I have always felt like Hawkeyes had a robust, quality feel. Definitely on the heavy side. I LOVE the LC6 trigger in stock form. Super crisp. That frosted finish that Ruger uses is horrible. I call it "Sure Mar." You look at it wrong and it mars. I have one in .338 WM and really like the rifle, but I’ve always been a fan of the Ruger 77 lineup. I mount my Magneetospeed on it and that finish looks like crap, bit the marks wipe off pretty easily. I wish I would have bought the .338 Federal one I found on clearance about 6-7 years ago now at Wal-Mart. If I ran across one in .25-06 or 7 Rem Mag and had money burning a hole in my pocket I’d probably buy one. I passed a SS Hawkeye 338 Federal for 500-550 a year ago. I should kick my own butt daily over being dumb. I bought a SS Hawkeye in 338 FED for $600 back in 2017 as part of a duplicate 3 rifle set in 223 REM, 6.5CM, and 338 FED. Glad that I did when I did.

I have been looking around to see if these are coming out in anything other than 30-06 and 308 in standard and 6.5 Creed in Ultralight. Nothing else.

Ruger Hawkeye All Weather, 308Win 22" barrel. I'm into this one for about 1k, Most likely the last one I'll sell. Bought new back in 2009.

My .308 Standard All Weather is a legit 1" or less at 100yds. Occasionally I'm up to it also.

They look good in walnut, if you can find a take-off. Net price for the upgrade was $75, after selling the Tupperware®️

When they first came out my Son had bought one in 270 Win. He's sold it since and I hate myself for not buying it. It was the most accurate 77 I've shot
