I’ve read how educators resist both arming staff and strong security measures because they don’t like the “message” that sends, or the atmosphere that results “for the children”.
Don’t they think that the kids are scared by what they here about these shootings and might just possibly feel safe knowing bad people can’t reach them?
Truth is, all these Leftys want us disarmed, and some foolishly think that once that happens, everyone will be safe from harm. Pollyannas.
Of course the Lefty politicians and Elites want to be able to control us. Getting rid of guns, and now high energy costs are two key parts of that plan. Food may be next.

Any other civilians who are willing, can take minimal training, have a concealed carry license, and use their firearms judiciously every day in this country.

Compared to Detroit area Oakland University I’d take a mini baseball bat and be happy! They made news a few years ago for supplying students with free hockey pucks to keep in book bags. In the event of a campus active shooter they were supposed to throw the pucks at the would be murder.
