For sale is a Remington 700 Mountain Rifle, walnut and blued steel, with detachable bottom magazine, in 270 Win

Recoil pad is missing because it was goo and flipped boogers all over the place so I removed it and got most of the smear off of the stock.

Unaltered from factory.

A few scratches and bumps on the stock and metal, most of them are on the cheek piece.

Finish is thin/worn on the cheek piece.

small amount of bluing wear on the muzzle, and a spot about 2" from the muzzle.

Jewelling is still bright.

This looks to have been hunted some, and fired very little.

I have two Mountain Rifles for sale. Both are Walnut/blued. One in 270 Win and the other in 30-06

This one is in 270 win, which has no recoil pad because is had turned to mush/goo.

This was a known problem, caused by some kind of chemical reaction between the recoil pad and carpet it was rested on.

Replacements are not difficult to find. At one time Remington replaced them for free, but have no idea if the new Remington would replace at no charge.

My 280 mountain glued its self to the safe floor, had to pry it off. TTT for a fine hunting rifle
