I get your point that can different environmental conditions end up making for totally different ways of hunting, all worth my respect.

I scan see we share the appreciation for single shot rifles. I hunt with nothing than K95s.

Have been shooting from a tripod for many years, both in NRL/PRS/NRL Hunter competition and hunting. I've used the Hog Saddles but preferred the quickness of dropping a Game Changer bag on top of the tripod and laying my rifle on top of the bag. Since Arca rails evolved I prefer to quickly clamp my rifle into the top of a tripod. Through shooting/testing i've proven to myself my groups are smaller and my POI is better with the Arca.
