Worth upgrading to over a VX3 2.5X8? Sako Finnlight .243.

Yes its an upgrade over that scope, The Meopta R2 1.7-10x42 is a better scope .
It all depends on what you want to do with the rifle.

Outstanding scope and definitely in upgrade over a VX3. Very generous eyebox.

Superb glass. Super lightweight. Excellent eyebox and FOv. Great reticle in the 4W. Lousy tracking. Plastic turret internals. Fragile as eggshells.

Isn't the Z6 illuminated? That's a big upgrade in itself.

Sounds like a great scope for the eastern deer hunting I do. I hunt in Alabama and sometimes I am in jungle and other times shooting out across a clear cut or down a logging road.

I'd rock one. But, honestly, I've never shot a deer looking through a Swaro that I couldn't have killed just as dead with a VX-3.

I don't think any of my Swaros have allowed me to kill a deer that my old Vari X III scopes wouldn't have, but the view through them is far more enjoyable. The eyebox on the Z6 Swaro scopes is huge and forgiving.
