What constitutes 'blem' when it comes to SPS brass ?

I would NOT buy that brass! I bought a bunch of the 6.5 PRC blem brass a while back and over 10% of the cases had a really weirdly-oversized rims. Also some were really malformed and required careful sizing not to get them stuck in the sizing die.

What constitutes 'blem' when it comes to SPS brass ? I haven’t used it yet, But have bought 2 types listed as blems. 1. Cosmetic - ready to load. 2. Needs resizing

I've picked up 200 pieces over the last year from them and have not had one issue.

Given the potential uncertainty, and price, I'm gonna pass. LGS has Lapua 6.5PRC brass on the shelf at a price very comparable to SPS.

I had a few pieces with creases on the shoulder and 1 split neck. I contacted Nosler and they sent me replacements since they were not usable.

I bought some .270 Win Blems from SPS that had a 10% cull rate for issues with the case mouths, but looked beautiful otherwise. I also bought some .257 Roberts blems from SPS a couple years ago that were clearly only cosmetically blemished - a little tarnish. They were some of the best brass I have ever examined - just stellar stuff. So it sounds like you don't really know what about the case is going to be the Blem part until you receive them, based on my small sample size.

I'd have to need brass pretty bad before I'd spend $150/100 on Nosler blems when Lapua costs $10-$20 more.
