How many "holidays" do the Negroes get? MLK day, Juneteenth, and here they celebrate Emancipation Day, Aug. 8. They gave them those days in lieu of Labor Day, and Father’s Day. LMAO ! Good one !

June 19th should be celebrated by ALL Americans, and I wish the day was Nationalized earlier... I plan to have a BBQ, as it has now become a pre-Independence Day National Holiday... Honestly, I have no issues with Juneteenth. It’s a Texas holiday. More so than Cinco de Mayo. It HAPPENED HERE. To remove Juneteenth to me would be tantamount to removing Bobby Lee’s statue. I have been to picnics with my neighbors who are closer to me than many white folks. If you cannot understand my rhetoric then GFY. I sincerely don’t give a phuque.

I'd be all for celebrating on the anniversary of Floyds self inflicted demise. But I doubt the woke folk would see the honor.
Maybe a holiday for when the famous rappers ended their illustrious careers by getting tangled in bad drug deals or overdoses.
Or since it's rainbow butt month, play some Queen, and celebrate that AIDS saved the world from music that really sucked.

August 8th, Emancipation Day, has always been celebrated here, although not so much now as it once was. The local Black Baptist church was located on one side of our farm, and they'd start cooking BBQ on the night of the 7th. Blacks would come and go all day on the 8th, eating, drinking, and gambling. Some White folks would always get invited to sample the BBQ. The older Blacks were really into celebrating Emancipation Day, not so much the younger ones. When I was growing up in the 50's and 60's, most Blacks were Republicans because it was the party of Lincoln, who freed the slaves. Funny how times have changed.

What are you doing to celebrate and commemorate Juneteenth? I think I'll fry some chicken, cool a watermelon, and make a big batch of Purple Drank, go see my dealer for some smoke and rock. Maybe go rob a liquor store, conceive an illegitimate child or burn something down, or even shoot a few people. What da hell...I don't have to work that day...or any other!
