I am curious how the Madison is flowing. It comes out of Yellowstone too. I used to spend the summer near Hebken Lake and fished the Madison. One June the road near earthquake lake was close to being destroyed and Slide Inn was worried.

Had 2-3" in most of central/southern Alberta and Sask the last couple of days, it was needed. There is actually more sheet water in the fields now than at snowmelt. Today and for a few more days is on and off rain, it is welcome here. Only thing with today so far is the wind, 40-50mph stuff. That helicopter vid is deja vu of last fall in BC around Merritt-Ashcroft area, and the Hope-Princeton, and Coquahalla, Fraser Canyon was washed out the same way, which all wound up in lower mainland and flooded a good portion of it and northern Wash.
When I have travelled around out west I noticed people built really close to streams. Here if they did that in the hills their roof would be under after a big rain.
