300 Winchester Magnum A-bolt II
I am the original owner approximately 200 rounds through it. Stock has a few scratches as it's been hunted.
Stock shortened ½ inch and 1 inch Limbsaver recoil pad installed for a factory 13.5 inch LOP
Barrel length with brake is factory 26 inches, with muzzle protector 24.5 inches
Action bedded with MarineTex and barrel free floated
Trigger pull at 3.5#
Very accurate with 180gr Remington SP and 200gr Nosler Partitions & Accubonds and Remington 200gr Swift A-frames.

Included: Rifle with magazine, Warne bases, brake, brake installation tool and muzzle protector. I stopped using the brake after the Limbsaver pad was installed as the recoil was very manageable for me.
50 rounds of factory and handloads (as components 200gr NPT) along with some brass are available to buyer if desired. Load data available.
$580 shipped from private individual to FFL, lower 48, elsewhere will be extra. Will ship barrel separated from action so that the box is shorter, add $20 if you want it shipped in a longer box.
Trades considered Tikka T3x in .223.

I know Browning doesn't get much love on this forum BUT this is an accurate rifle that has never disappointed and will serve someone well.

Browning a bolt or a bolt 2. I have a browning High Power in 243 which is killer (the predecessor to the a bolt series) but I would love a legit a bolt.

I've been looking for an abolt myself for years and everytime I find one it's not the caliber I want or it gets snatched up pretty quick.

What are you looking for specifically? There’s a 7mag medallion on here right now that’s not a bad deal

Really would like a stainless abolt in a short action or maybe even a 25-06. I came really close to getting this one but a 300 wm is not real practical for the style of hunting I do here in north florida where average shots are 100 yards and a 200lb deer is pretty big for my area.

Ah that is a hard one to find. You don’t see many stainless come up at all, and most of those are long action magnums. I don’t personally recall ever seeing a stainless short action

But for the right price and caliber it wouldn't have to be stainless. I just love the feel and fit of those original abolts but they are just very hard to find. A buddy of mine has an a bolt stalker in 25 wssm and that is probably the best feeling rifle I've ever held.
