Had two litters arrive at the same time, so I'm really testing my "STARTED PUPPY" methodology with them.

Started them apart, ENS therapy, learning the basic manners, food, jump up, gate, etc. Then joined them together (20 Babies!) and reinforced the basics. They caught on so quickly as a group, that I added the hold for the release at feeding time, and they caught on in two days! (They kinda understood the first time out!)

[Linked Image from uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com]

I'm advancing them (still in the group of 20) to the hold, steady, call to COME, hold again, release to praise-fest! this week, prior to letting the new owners take them on June 25, give or take.

I have a few black of both genders left, if any of you guys are interested.

In Central WA, but can discuss deliver or ship ideas with you.

AKC apps included, unrestricted. Sire has OFA's (normal/excellent), one of the Dam's has OFA's (normal/good), the other Dam will be getting OFA's over the next couple months after she turns two. Sire has DNA, Dams will be having DNA's done soon. Pups have had series of 3 immunizations, two series liquid wormings, Dew Claws removed, ENS Therapy from 5 days old until they transitioned into puppy manners training...
These pups have NEVER been allowed to run wild around humans. Never. That does not need to be trained out of them.
They Listen.
They understand too! (Watch the videos!)

$800 males, $1000 females. OBO, open to trades, especially sporting.

All the details and LOTS of videos on my website, rainshadowlabradors.com (any video with 20 pups is this group!)

Pics of parents. Descriptions, Blog, Etc. It's all there.

Very interested in safe queen trades!

Gotta' love it! If I wasn't too old to get a pup, I could really go for one of these. Impressive training BTW.

This is the first time I had the litters together, in a new place.
They learned gate manners separately, this is the first time I expected it of them together as 20.
This was at 7 weeks.

One question. How did you get them to all pose at one time? Great picture. MTG

I told them to.

Ok, oversimplification. Here... I was doing this... and I stopped just before I said "FOOD!" and took a pic...

My wife found a quote on her Springer site "Labs are born half trained, Springers die half trained." That's about right, based on my experience. Our one and two year old Springers won't dependably do some of what your pups do. Congrats on your methods.

All I need is a 'maybe' from my wife and I'll be headed your way next week with a pocket full of cash. Of course, I'd call first. My current lab is almost six and needs a companion. Ward

PS Had to edit my post to add your labs are the right size. Jumbo labs just aren't my preference especially after fishing with a buddy in an 18' boat who brought along his 110lb goofball chocolate.

Wish I could add one for a playmate to our 4 yr old lab but he does not do well with other dogs. Lovable as they come with people but just a prick with other dogs

Send me a message, I'll make sure you have my number.

Made a playpen in the lawn with a wading pool in it, did two rounds of sit/hold/come for exuberant praise out there today, they did perfect! I'll get it on video. Shows they're listening and responding to affection, not just food!

Warm day, they got all happy about the water!
