The 'Fire for You' tune playing happenstance on the radio when I began filming was kind of funny.
Never know what you're going to see out there, maybe especially with those of us who are true night owls. This was around midnight. The fella had no idea I was there on this first vid. He did 'perform' some more for me after I rolled up on him, including some fire breathing displays. Turns out he does this stuff on the side at music festivals, parties and the like and was just out practicing.
Safety first, kids! Note the white gas bottle in his hand as he's doing his thing. For S&G I asked him what his safety protocols are in case of an accident involving him catching fire. He responded that he 'had a fire blanket somewhere in the truck'.
I have a lot of appreciation for people who can do that. I watched Cirque Du Soleil one evening at a casino. Leaving the casino I rode on the elevator with the guy that did the fire stunts. He had burn marks all over the place. I'll bet that guy does too.

I asked him about that and he said that on several occasions he'd lost quite a bit of hair both off his head and face, but 'no big deal'. I did mention to him that if he were to trip and fall with that open container of white fuel in hand with no one around to assist putting him out, well, he just might end up a most unhappy chappie. He shrugged and said, 'I pretty much know what I'm doing'.
As a kid visiting family in Scotland I recall having trouble sleeping since it was still light at around 10pm…
Those endless summer evenings, IIRC referred to in Scotland as “the gloaming”. Best time of the day, I miss them.

15 years back I was doing a gig about the time the first iPod came out. Taking a break and had that iPod on random. Some chick lights up her baton and starts spinning/twirling like a stripper. Next song that comes up?
Not joking.
Pretty epic really.
Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

Tripping balls walking through Boston Common, circa 1995 maybe, the heavens open up, deluge to beat the band, massive thunder, insane lightning going, and as we wade into the Frog Pond, what comes on but Garbage's "I'm Only Happy When it Rains"...
Ha. I like the dark. Maybe working nights for a couple decades has something to do with it. Post work downtime for me was about 11pm-4am.

I get off at 2 AM. Some dandy schitt goes on late at night
When I was young, the older cats in the 'hood used to say something like, 'after 2 am, out on the street it's nothing but the 7 Cs: cops, coke, cabs, crooks, c*nts, criminals and crying. Go home while you still can, kid...'
