I think these R's voting for it - it's less about being scared of the voters, it's knowing the dem opposition they'll face is horrid so they can get away with it AND get concessions from Dems on something else for doing so. How many have been honeypotted and blackmailed or just paid off do you figure. They've all been paid off - and they're doing it via the public treasury. The quid pro quo is astounding and should be illegal. I won't vote for those "who reach across the aisle" - if I wanted what the other side had, I'd vote for them. I think lawyers should be barred from congress myself. Conflict of interest and their training is in arguing - not solving problems. They should be limited to a small percentage of the population too. miles
