I plan to start carrying a .223 in the truck - too many coyote sightings without a gun. I'm looking for suggestions for a gun rack that will keep my rifle from banging around but also provides quick and easy access. I was looking at Lucid Optics Snap Rack and also some of those two piece cloth units that connect to the headrests and lay over the back of the front seat. Suggestions?

Snap rack works pretty well. It helps to have a duffel or something holding the butt against the seat at the bottom, so it doesn’t want to walk out on a rough road.

I have the Big Sky Rack (2 rifle) and a Shelf-it/Rifle-it. The shelf-it is the fastest......

I took a broom handle holder. Glued some felt on the inside and attached it next to my drivers door post upright. It holds the barrel with the butt on the floor too my left. I'd put in a pic but this site does not like me. Access is immediate as you open the door and step out.
