My wife has Covid. So far it isn't a bad case. She's a little bit croupy, nose stuffed up, and a fever of 101. No congestion in her lungs. Not much energy, but enough to be up walking and talking when she takes a notion. Basically, the symptoms are like a moderate case of the Flu.

Everybody she works with came down with it a couple of weeks ago. She's been working in the hospital around Covid patients since day 1 and never got it. Then everybody in her area came down with it at the same time. My wife was on vacation when it hit and she missed it then. But as soon as she went back to work she got hit with it.
Who knows which variant it is. But it sure seems to spread easy, whatever it is.

Hope it stays mild for her. My son's family just spent about 7 days flat laid out miserable. His wife, RN, put in 22 months in infectious disease ICU where she works, never even caught a cold, but in last week of school the kids teacher spread it to the 6th grade class. Son and wife are early 40's, active and healthy, and it flat laid them out. Kids, 8 and 11 are still coughing 18 days later. If this is the "milder" Omicron, I hate to think what the original Chinese Lab version would do to you.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Sounds like my sister in law. Had symptoms of a mild cold. The only way she knew she had corona was she tested positive.
She had all the vaccines and boosters and yet she still caught it. A Hillary voter, she was fully on board with the mask.
It makes it sound like Corona is a bunch of over hyped BS.

I'm Praying for both of you. I appreciate it. But I've known many people who have had it and came out of it just fine. One of them is a friend of mine in his 80s. It seems like these current variants are more of a nuisance than anything.

I hade covid-19 starting November 2, 2020 and I never ran a fever, headache, ears plugged and body ached. I was able to go about my daily routine of feeding horses and cows daily. It affects people differently
