Hydroxyurea? Isn't that Diesel Exhaust Fluid? *shrugg*,.....maybe. The instructions for taking it says not to touch it with your hands,...but you eat it. I've yet to figure that out.

Ya Bristoe I should have added I hope you and the missus pull through OK.
Might be a major genetic component. Everyone on my side of the family, even my 90yo mom came through with mild symptoms whereas my Mexipino Ex lost two cousins dead and her brother was in ICU twice.
I still have horse paste in the refrigerator, haven’t taken it.

I’ll be keeping you and your wife in my prayers. We’ve had it at least twice and it was nothing more than a moderate to mild cold. We took ivermectin as soon as we suspected it and the next day we were feeling good. If you want a tube of ivermectin and you can’t find it locally I have extra and would be happy to send you one.
Your wife is young, fit and healthy so she’ll be fine…..you’re the one we worry about more. 😁
Seriously though….. I wish you all the best B !

Yeah, I started the Ivermectin as soon as wifey popped positive... Friday afternoon. My symptoms began Sunday night. Did a full six-day regimen. My congestion was almost non-existent compared to wife, who has been trying to cough up her lungs for 11days now. I had fever/chills for 2.5 days. Very little coughing. Achey/burning skin for 5 days. It is this darned sore throat/ear ache that is kicking my arse. I had IPPP surgery for sleep apnea some years ago. Brutal. They removed my tonsils, adnoids, uvula, roof of my mouth. Got THRUSH from all the anti-biotics, which caused my tongue, mouth to peel. I think this pain is every bit as bad!!!

I came down with it Wednesday, Slavyanka this morning.
For me, heavy fatigue and light chest congestion. Sputum is clear and thin. But dog tired. Was in bed at 8pm last two nights.
For her, fever (38c) and light chest congestion, tiredness.
I had to get 2 vases for work but balked at the booster. She hasn’t had any.
I’ve taken two doses of Ivermectin. She hasn’t tried it or the hydroxy yet (we have both) because she has stomach issues and is worried about that.

I appreciate all the good wishes. But we're not on death watch around here. She's sitting in her chair watching TV. She's had it for about 3 days, but didn't know it was Covid until she went to the doctor today.
The Doctor gave her the test, then left the room to get the results,...came back into the room wearing a head to toe anti virus "spacesuit".
Wife says, "uh-oh".

Everybody has had it. Everybody is going to get it again.
I’m sure she’ll be fine. This^^^ It has basically been reduced to the common 'cold' Not quite. It is kicking our arses here. Wife brought it home. She says she thought it was allergies so decided to take no precautions. (stinking nurses) Five days later, diagnosed with Strep, THEN finally takes a C19 test... positive, seven days in. I am already screwed. Was in Urgent Care yesterday but thinking ER today. The strep is out of control. NOTHING phases the pain... nothing! Prescription gargle ( numbing) did nothing, 800 mg IBu... nothing, Aleve + Tylenol... no help. Hydrocodone... no help. Hydrocodone plus 800 IBU... no relief! Can't believe this pain from sore throat/ears, unbearable. If you've got strep they should have you on antibiotics. It's nothing to be screwing around with. My mom got rheumatic fever from strep and went through puberty in bed (a year). Ended up getting two heart valves replaced (one twice) and she still ended up dying from it a few months ago. Heart damage made her pass out and hit her head. Cumiden levels were sky high and she died from blood on her brain. Rheumatic fever damaged my first wife's heart eventually killed her. She didn't make it through a heart valve surgery.

I ran 102 temp and hurt like hell all over for eight days when I had it. Never did develop any respiratory symptoms. Stayed home in bed so I wouldn't spread it. If I had gotten breathing troubles I would have gone on to the hospital otherwise didn't want to.
