Anyone have a pic of Warne non QD rings on a scope of 3 x 9 x 40 30mm tube I'm thinking mediums are all they offer and wonder if they will have the scope needlessly too high.

Do yourself a favor and look into their Mountain Tech rings. Fine stuff. Easy on and off.
What fresh Hell is this?

I swap scopes and other optics around a bunch. The 1/2” nuts on the MTs make it quick and simple. Regular Warnes have to be almost disassembled. If you run a rail, once the rings are installed you can usually swap a scope onto another rifle so equipped for trouble-shooting or other purposes, and sometimes pulling a scope makes maintenance easier. It’s also useful to have a backup lightweight pre-sighted red dot or another scope for backup in some scenarios. Plus, they’re just excellent rings, which alone is enough for me. Very strong, with SS (blackened) hardware.

There are 2 rules to success:
1. Never tell everything that you know.
