The fever, ache and sore throat stuff was less than a cold. Wasnt much to worry about, thought it was over.
Then rash, dehydration and POTS came on. That was an annoying month or so

Tested positive Wednesday night. Stuck isolating in motel room until next Wednesday, long way from home. I contract work away.
No sore throat , but chest congestion, sore ears and some nausea and feel like hit by a train.
Taking antiviral due to immunosuppressants and also real low white blood cell count.
My son and his wife have it too, they sound really sick.
All of us immunized.
Have heard Omnicron is as bad as original Wuhan fly.
Get better everyone and avoid this sucker if you can.

So far I've not got it. Last night she asked me if I wanted to sleep in another bedroom.
I declined. There's no way to live in a house with somebody that's contagious and avoid them. I'm not even going to go through the motions of trying to.

Had it twice, I am fortunate, no real symptoms either time, first time I was clearing a food plot by hand, having to answer 50 questions from some illegal every freaking day, same crap, are you showing symptoms, running a fever, where are you have you been around anyone, are you wearing a mask etc. I had it but did not know it. I told them all to leave me the hell alone, but they would not do it, 21 days of that noise.
Next spring I go in for my yearly check up, blood work shows I had a boat load of antibodies, enough that they asked I donate blood for them to strip the antibodies for treatment of sick folks, numbers stayed high enough for three donations. No jabs. Wife who is on lots of immunosuppressants never got the jab either, survived it twice too. We both have type O+ blood.
Young friend down the road, who was vaccinated was dead in two weeks after contracting it in May of '21.

I was waiting to see how my own case came out before posting here. Two Pfizer shots and two boosters and I still got the Wu Flu last week, first time I knew for me. Came on sudden, vaguely unwell Tues evening, cough, sore throat, snuffles, congestion the following morning. Anyhoo, this is what a positive home test looks like, those two lines.... Felt low, mostly slept it off the next three days. Felt fine after that. The worst part was staying in the house for five days. I can’t remember staying here even one day before that. Bad timing too, me and the grandkid had been planning to see Top Gun. A funny part was my elderly Filipino ex mother in law, an excellent cook, sent over a whole gallon of homemade chicken soup 🙂 Last day of mask-wearing while out and about today. No I don’t think masks work, I’m just following CDC guidelines, in case anyone accuses me of getting them sick. Holy Fugking Christ. I haven't laughed this hard since Schindler's List.

Ya Bristoe I should have added I hope you and the missus pull through OK.
Might be a major genetic component. Everyone on my side of the family, even my 90yo mom came through with mild symptoms whereas my Mexipino Ex lost two cousins dead and her brother was in ICU twice.
I still have horse paste in the refrigerator, haven’t taken it. Hey BirdFugk, Extra points on the veiled anti-Ivermectin comment. You closet libtard.

You're a moron if you wear a stupid mask that is incapable of filtering a virus just because of the moronic political CDC
I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first

At a funeral yesterday, I ran into a woman who I knew in high school. I hadn't seen her in 40 years. Apparently her husband died from covid last fall. He was diabetic but kept it well under control. One day he got sick, his blood sugar went nuts, and 3 days later he was dead. Covid is hell on preexisting conditions.

Hope those with with covid recover quickly. I had minor cough and congestion last week. Got tested and was positive. My symptoms have been very minor. I’ve had mild colds that were much worse. I’ve quarantined in our basement but have got out and washed my truck, shot my bow several days and got in a couple miles on tread mill. I was jabbed and boostered and have no idea whether that helped keep my symptoms very light, or if I’m just lucky.
