Picked this rifle up a couple years back, it’s a great rifle but it’s time to send it down the road. Action is a sako AII, barrel is a 22” sgw, stock is a fiberglass copy of a Winchester featherweight that was built by Gentry. Bluing was beginning to wear, so I had all metal cerakoted in H-245 socom blue. The leupold isn’t included. 1450$ for rifle and rings shipped to your ffl. PayPal friends and family or certified check with wait time to clear bank system. Gentry Customs has been building rifles for a while, this rifle was built in 87

It’ll shoot ttsx loads well within an inch. Barrel does heat up fast like any mountain rifle contoured barrel.

Just a hair over, it’s a lightweight rifle. About like carrying a broom stick around. Recoil is there but it’s streamline, doesn’t have an awful lot of pop.

Absolutely amazing weight. Would cost 3 times the ask to get there with a build. That’s lighter than a nula.
I’m tempted on principle.

Man someone needs to snag this. Lighter and cheaper than you'll find most any NULA, Fieldcraft, Montana.
I'd put it in the closet just to have there if I haven't been treating my bank account like it didn't have a bottom recently.

The rifle was weighed on my smith’s digital scale, had to call him to get weight as he wrote it down with other details so he could replicate it. His scales weighed the rifle at 5 pounds 11 ounces the way it sets right now. I should’ve led with that information I guess. The scope is a Vari-x 3 1-4, which weighs around 9-10 ounces. That should put rifle at 5 pounds, which I’ve never weighed the bare rifle on a set of good scales.

In all honesty. If I would’ve thought ounces were going to be a huge part, I would’ve took pictures of the rifle on the scales at my smiths and had him weigh it without scope and without rings.

Ok, thanks for the detailed response. That puts it awfully close to a bunch of stuff I already have, so I’ll pass. Still a damn amazing deal though. I assume it’s blind mag?

Yes sir, it’s an adl configuration. Once again I’m sorry for any confusion, that was definitely not intended. I should’ve broke it down and paid a little more attention to detail. My smith just built me a model 7 in 358 Winchester that weighs around 5.5 pounds unscoped so that’s why this one is up.

If that was directed my way, ounces under 5 pounds increase significantly in cost. After a point, about the only place to loose weight is the action - and that involves labor or expensive materials. Damn nice rifle and incredible value for whoever bought it.
