I am looking to try a load LeHigh Defense 142 Gn Controlled Chaos bullets for my Borden actioned 7x57, 8.5" Twist, 22" barrel length.
There is nothing on the Lehigh website by way of load data, just a statement that if there is no data shown, then there is no data. Really Helpful ... NOT.
I shall be very grateful if anyone here has gone down this rabbit hole for the 7x57 and is able to share experience. I realise the inherent danger of copying load data, but a starter would be much appreciated.

You could use similar weight data to start.
Don't ask me about my military service or heroic acts...most of it is untrue.

Good Plan..... I've got loads for Peregrine 140 Gn that are good, so I'll try something based on that. Start slow and work up. There is no information on optimal seating depths on the Lehigh site, so I'll go with the monolithic 'standard' starting jump at 100 thou off the lands and see what that gives. I'm not optimistic given the paucity of manufacturers data but..... worth a try.

Safety Notes
The task of reloading center fire metallic cartridges should only be undertaken by someone familiar with reloading procedures. One must observe all possible safety precautions and practices in accordance with proper handling of any explosive. We make no warranty of merchantability or fitness on any data given for a particular use. All our loading data is intended solely for use in modern firearms. We have provided recommending starting charges, which should be safe in every modern, correctly manufactured, and maintained firearm of the appropriate caliber.
It is incumbent upon the reloader to progress in a safe manner. Always start a load development with the recommended starting propellant charge. Upon working up the load to higher pressures, never exceed the published recommended maximum charge weight. Variation from the published loading length can and will create dangerous pressures. Watch for any signs of excessive pressure (cartridge case expansion, difficult extraction, flattened or pierced primers, unusual recoil), and immediately STOP shooting if any high-pressure signs are witnessed.
