Was shooting my BMR today and as the title says. The safety stopped engaging. Couldn't slide it back enough to go back on safe. Then the trigger stopped working. Wth? Took it out of the stock, sprayed cleaner & compressed air blew it out. Nothing, no change. Then with no help on my part pins and a spring fell out on the table. Think I got it back together right but it's back to the original problem. Any ideas? Something I'm missing?

Did you do the Bergara trigger modification? If you didn't modify the trigger call Bergara customer service. If you did modify the trigger and its no longer under warranty you can put an aftermarket trigger in it.

No I didn't touch it. It was good enough for me the way it was. Was hoping it was an easy fix and I might having a "duh" moment.

Just put the triggergroup back together slowly and with much attention. Everything's working fine now. Think maybe a spring was caught in there crooked originally but who knows. Is what it is. Stay safe
