I am looking for a good 30-30 load suggestion. I have some 170g RN Fp. Wondering what powder I should use and how much?

I use 33.5 gr. of W748 with the Speer 170. It's not the only answer, but it works.

A mild load that always shoots well for me is 31 gr IMR-4064 behind the Hornady 170 gr FN.

Sounds like you may be shooting cast. I've found that 35 grains of H-414 with the RCBS 30-180 FP is the most accurate in 4 thirty thirtys I've shot. That load also shot good when using a 173 grain FP.

As Youper and Sam have said, 748 and 4064 have been go-to powders for the 30/30 for years. I might add 3031 is a good one for this cartridge. I used to reload a good quite a few rounds for my old Marlin 336 when I was a kid. I haven't loaded much for the 30/30 in many years but if I were to start experimenting for it again I would grab a jug of LeverRevolution. The Hornady manual makes it look tempting.

30grs of 3031 is excellent in my 30-30’s using 170’s.

30 grains 3031 just like Bearcat said
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

30 grains 3031 just like Bearcat said That is the classic load for the .30-30. There are a lot of combinations that work great in the .30-30 and load data is easy to find.
