If the director has to mortgage his house, it's a tight budget.

Jeremiah Johnson was originally buried somewhere around LA. He was dug up and reburied in Cody, Wy. Redford served as one of the pallbearers.

I’ll love to buy this guy a beer to pay for his stories.

Great movie. Saw it again a couple nights ago.

John “Jeremiah Johnson” Johnston in the later years of his life was the town marshal of Red Lodge, Montana. He built and lived in a log cabin just outside of Red Lodge. The cabin he built sits to this day in a conspicuous spot as one enters Red Lodge.

It is a very good Movie
But Redford is a Piece of Liberal Crap
He partitioned the State to make 1000s and 1000s of mountains up by his property Wilderness area and even tried to get it so no one could even enter those mountains.
The State zoned the mountains as Wilderness and only Hikers and Horse back could enter those areas.
After Redford got almost what he wanted he got caught Helicoptering his friends and himself high up in those areas so that they cold ski the untouched wilderness.

He did a lot of BS to try and stop the Utah people from using their own lands.

RogueHunter, it is definitely worth the time to watch the 9 minute video that you posted. Thanks for doing so. I still watch the movie a couple of times a year it seems………….one of my all time favorites. And have read the book “Crow Killer” a couple of times. I may need to read it again now.

And Will Geer was a bright red communist. Still a great movie, though it pales beside the book.

Redford is a wussy-boy physically compared to Sam Minard from the book. Just imagine little Bobby picking up two Indians and banging their heads together🤔

I believe Tim McIntire (the American character actor) sang the soundtrack to that movie. He was in ‘The Choirboys’ and ‘Brubaker’.
