The trigger seems to be an electric ignition method that controls the battery and the electric current ignites black powder. Bruce

I don’t see a whole of German craftsmanship in that gun but plenty of Japanese built to work engineering. It looks like it was designed to fire from an electrical charge. I’m assuming that’s a battery pack under the barrels and in front of the trigger.
