Can't stand that channel, but I'm glad they posted their predictable results.

Yeah, but how far would it go if you filled the trailer up with generators and gas? LOL
Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

The other thing I took away from this is just how poorly the gas engine truck does for mileage. They got about 7.5 mpg. I get about 11.5 with my 3500 Ram pulling a 10,000 lb trailer; driving the same route they did (but not turning around because I didn't have to). The only good thing about the Ford EV is that there is room in the back to haul the 6500 Watt Generator you need to extend your range. Of course, that cuts into your payload a bit. I wonder how big of a genset you need to just keep on driving? Think a 20KW would do it? GD

So currently the Lightning is basically a local commuter/work truck. Nothing more.

So currently the Lightning is basically a local commuter/work truck. Nothing more. VERY local... Yeah, but how far would it go if you filled the trailer up with generators and gas? LOL And with the heater on in the cold of winter. Range will be about 40-45% of normal, tops. I expect drivers will be investing in parkas, insulated boots and gloves when they drive to work up north in January...
