I recently bought this gun with the intent of sending it to Andy Horvath for a major overhaul. The more I look at it and its condition, the more I feel it is too nice a gun to modify. Unconverted, three digit serial number, near perfect condition with just a hint of blue wear on the left side of the muzzle. The shipped price to your FFL with normal insurance is $950 and I will accept postal money orders accompanied by a copy of the FFL.

( I set the gun on a patch of moss that still had a few drops of water on it. Those have naturally been wiped off before the gun was put away.)

Nice old 3-Screw. They are getting harder & harder to find like that nowadays.

Many folks don’t realize that they only made the three screw 45s for a couple of years before they went to the transfer bar system. In fact, they made less old model 45s than they did 44 magnum flat tops. I had John Gallagher do a complete customization on one of these guns and it was one of the last customs he completed before he died. My oldest son loved what John did to that gun do it now is his.

I was going to have Andy Horvath pretty much replicate my sons gun but thus one is just too nice to go under the knife like I would have wanted.

Nice. I too have a three screw .45 that is unmolested. They are sweet.
