We have a nice stainless Taurus 63 with a small crack in the stock next to the receiver.
I want to remove the butt stock and repair the crack before it grows.
Does anyone know the nut size to loosen the stock under the butt plate?
A 21mm is too small and anything larger in my tools won't fit inside the hole drilled in the stock and I have no way to reach the bolt to measure it.
It would be nice to know what size thin walled socket is needed to fit that nut, or what size the nut is to grind a socket down to fit inside the 1.10 hole
