I do have 3 ac units
1- 5 ton Trane package r-22 unit still runs, no kw banks. Still on my 5x10 trailer. 😁 my unit, I upgraded in March
Gibson 3 ton- coil shot. I need to yank capacitors, trasformers, switches, board still good. Blower and evap fan was ok.
Trane 2-1/2 ton-package it works also. House caught fire, unit other end of the house. Saving this in case my rental house AC takes a chit. I got it for $100 My zone 2 is a 2-1/2 T. If ai need on this end I got it. Mothball it for now. Only 5 years old
Doesn’t hurt having parts.
I have parts cars for two types of vehicles we run as daily drivers now. Be ignorant as hell to haul them off…for what a fuggin $100-200? Hell no. The timing cover on the 3.5 liter dodge caravan is $1300 right now. 👍👍👍

Fuggin Karen’s!!! It’s his property and he pays the taxes! So what if the man wants 100 hot tubs why is it your concern??? I got a dozen cars and bikes and lawnmowers setting around right now! You wanna run to Lowe’s and pay Biden/CHYNA prices for parts, be my guest. It if I can fix whatever is broke with parts I have laying around that works for me. You ever hear the story about walk a mile in the other mans shoes? Maybe you should stop in and say hello and quit riding by judging him Karen! He might be a pretty cool dude! Most old guys I know around here in the mountains with junk strung out everywhere are some of the smartest, kind, good hearted people around. You don’t like it go back to the city in your HOA!

I refer to myself as Curator - It sounds so much better than Hoarder.

In the 1980s I lived in Layton, Utah which adjoins Hill AFB. There was a well-known hoarder who lived outside the city limits on about 5 acres - crammed with old cars, appliances, and junk of all kinds. Also many small outbuildings. The county tried to enforce zoning laws but he ignored them and was hostile to any government interference. One day though, I had to make a pretty good detour to get home because of roadblocks about a mile in every direction from his property. Later found out that some health inspectors had gone in, and they found barrel after barrel of what was suspected to be explosive materials. Authorities then determined the barrels were filled with aluminum perchlorate based solid rocket fuel. Apparently very highly dangerous stuff. The owner was arrested, and a massive cleanup effort began that took a couple of months to complete. The real kicker of this whole story though, is that the hoarder had receipts for just about everything he had acquired including the rocket fuel. His source? Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office, Hill Air Force Base. He was a frequent flier to their monthly auctions, and the Air Force had pallets of the stuff that they needed to get rid of. That practice ended shortly after all this came to light in the local media.

Yeah...who needs more than 7 rounds of 30-30 ammo? Or a busted toilet in the front yard. Easier than hanging your ass over a log. Ever tried to sit on the rim of a 5 gallon bucket?

I learned a long time ago it's best to scatter your collections of precious items on various different properties. It helps you remember what's where while making one appear to be less of a hoarder all in one location. Nobody accused me of hoarding when I made this post. https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/16956400/games-people-play

See anything you need?? Stuff on the short side on top has been there 40+ years. Some stuff in there has possibly been there since the mid 30s or 40s.
