I just moved a grand daughter to Chattanooga last weekend, third floor apartment, that crap certainly does suck. Monteagle is fun in an underpowered Uhaul 15" rental as well.

Just moved my daughter to Atlanta for graduate school. Where she has been keeping all of this stuff for 22 years in a 12x14 bedroom is beyond me…..and yes, she also gets to live on the 3rd floor.

I've moved a lot. 3 weeks before move date, I want a rollback dumpster delivered.
For one thing that goes on the tuck, one goes in the dumpster.
Keeps things simple. I haven't moved now in 9 years, it's probably time to go ahead, so we can get rid of some junk.

Next go around, I think I'll just have a fire. Would help immensely though if my kid would clear his stuff out. Every time he moves, we end up with more of his s--t that I know he will never reclaim.

Last move for me was 11 years ago and it sucked even with my 2 teenage boys to help out. Hi Lonny- We are going to be in South Carolina, just south of Charlotte. Sally is going on a road trip! She’s getting pretty old and loves to lay in the sun. I think she’ll like it just fine👍 Timber- A big yes to the rollback. I never knew I was a hoarder! Sheesh!

Wife wants to down size. I tell her to pack sand. I get a dumpster once a year and if it's something that hasn't been used in a year, it goes in. 10 yards at a time.
The move from AK to MI was enough. Just moved my dad into a smaller house and that kinda quieted my wife. He went from 7000sqft to 1000sqft, all his crap is in my basement.
Guess I'll be getting a 2nd dumpster
