Last 5 days here in AZ it has been 110-115. When you have window shades in your car and still cannot touch the steering wheel it is freakin hot.

Supposed to hit 110* here in El Norte Tejas tomorrow: I love it. Beats the hell out of freezing in the winter and worrying about water lines busting and the electricity going off for 3-4 days.

I usually head to Durango. Nice small little town with lots of good food to eat and a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. And one of the best Fly Fishing Shops and Guide Services in Colorado. Duranglers.
Friends have a cabin on 100 acres over by Lake Valacita, where I can stay for free.
Then I usually head over to fish the quality water just below the San Juan Dam in NM, about 50 miles from Durango. Some monster rainbows and brownies there.

How hot? So damn hot that black on black rifle was too hot to touch on top. A bandanna wetted in the cooler that was supposed to go on my red neck had to go elsewhere. 109*

I'll second that. Eight days without running water in Feb. 2021!

My 16 year old is at a softball tournament in OKC. We live 30 miles north of Seattle. It’s been above 80 once this summer.

It’s been 100+ every day she’s been there. Supposed to be 111 tomorrow. Fortunately, their games have been early….only 90 at game time lol

Woooeeee Neal. Car gauge said 113, Phone said 109. Phone says 12mph wind, so there is that.

Edit to add: Sister says 81* in Colo Springs.

102* here in Midland. It’s odd that most of TX is hotter than it is out here. Last summer, it rarely broke 100* and we had double digit inches of rain in the summer. Then it quit in august and didn’t rain again until mid June. Not a drop since. Reminds me of 2011.

Think about the day, of no AC, let alone fans.

The only ice was from an icehouse.

Well wait 'till August

Just came inside from dribbling water on
what vegetables are still holding on
100 ° at 10 minutes to nine

Hot here too. Saturday neighbor south of the northern farm had a hot bearing in a swather catch fire. Burned that place moved north and burned a half section of our bluestem. No one got hurt and we saved all the equipment and houses. Creeks are still burning though.
