Anybody try this combo? What charges were you able to get up to and what velocity. Thinking of trying it with some 140 partitions.

My load in my Tikka T3 superlight is 48gr RL26 139 Scenar, CCI200 and Starline LRP brass. 2880fps. Incredibly accurate!!!!

That’s the same rifle I have and brass I planned on using. Would be extremely happy with that.

I don’t have charge weight handy, but I was at 2900 fps from a 24” barrel in mine, using Alpha Munitions brass. Impressive, but it wasn’t as consistent on the chrono or as accurate as H4350.

I tried some RL 26 last summer with the Hornady 143ELD-x and I dont remember the charge weight, but the velocity was close to 75fps slower than when I tried the same bullet with H4831sc. I pulled my data from the Hornady vol 11 manual and Hodgdon 2021 annual manual. I shot all the way to the max charge listed for both listed data sets, and experienced no pressure. The gun is a Bergara Ridge Wilderness and I was using FED 210m primers and Alpha LRP brass.

The accuracy for me was decent, but noticebly better with the H4831sc.

I know you didnt ask, but earlier this year, I tried the Speer 140 HotCor with RL 23 and accuracy and velocity were both excellent.

I used Speer’s charge data with RL26, Horn brass, CCI200, and the 143ELDX. Worked up to 2,750 in a 21” factory Bergara barrel. Shot well. Same load shoots in my 18” Sig Cross but I have not checked velocity yet.

This was 100fps above factory 140gr Hornady ammo, so I saw no need to keep pushing velocity.

I used the 143 and 147's in my old Tikka with RL26. 147's with 46.5 grains in Alpha brass with BR2 primers went 2775 in my rifle. That load was fairly tight, accuracy was excellent. RL17 was about 50FPS behind, accuracy was the same but the case fill wasn't so dense. I ended up using 26 for the bolt gun and still use 17 in the AR10 with the 139 Scenars. I know I have bracketed your question, but I'd definitely say it'll work.
