Anybody in MO, Arkansas, Oklahoma or Southern KS, possibly Tejas have any leads on a snake hunt?

Minimal findings in my internet search.

4 or 5 of us interested.

Spring time. Know of a den ive left some 5 footers in.

Now they are scattered over the country and holed up under packrat nests of impenetrable, built up twigs and mesquite branches or down in badger holes.

Not rattlers but if you want to see cottonmouths go to Reelfoot Lake. We'd see one or two of them going from the cabin to the boat... maybe 100 yds or so. Three feet long and as big around as your arm.

Hopefully somebody with a place will chime in and have a place for us, possibly in the Spring.

What’s a proper gun for snake hunting? I’m thinking a big bore revolver loaded with snake shot but have no idea.

Outside your AO. But, you just missed the annual Noxen Rattlesnake Roundup in Noxen PA. Was Always well attended and good grub. There is a FB page with this year’s results.

Mowing my hunting spot all day today. Had a pretty EDB crawl away from my tractor as I was doing my thing. I don’t kill em when I see em…..the way I see it, they’re just punching a time clock like we are…

They are neat critters. I don’t mess with them unless I find them around the house. Last thing I need is my kids or dog getting bit.

Okeene, OK has a pretty good rattlesnake round up yearly. Well attended and successful.

There are 2 rules to success:

1. Never tell everything that you know.
