Anyone have a recipe for Italian Easter Pie ? Growing up I had an Italian neighbor lady who always gave our family a generous portion of one that she made.

Meat and pie. What's not to love.

I had to Google it too.

Recipes online I saw looked good. I usually only look at recipes that are highly rated with lots of votes. Those recipes usually turn out pretty good for first tries.

My friend makes something every year that he calls Easter pie. I don't know the recipe, but it is basically ricotta cheese with grated Romano and (maybe) mozzarella, and small cubes of pepperoni, prosciutto and soppressata.

Could that be what you're referring to?

Never heard if it. Kinda looks like a Chicago deep dish pizza.
