You can't possibly be that naive or stupid. Burns' MO here has always been to associate himself with Special Forces guys, posting pics and name dropping to build credibility for his business. Everyone sees that and people have quoted him right here on this thread saying that those guys would happily go to war with his rifles. You're the only one who doesn't think that's self-promotion. Burns' annoying propensity to promote himself by association with those guys is the reason so many long-time members have come out of the woodwork and commented on it, on this thread. Including people like jag who would rather call me a commie than agree with me but told you right here that what I said about Burns is spot on. Nobody likes a blowhard.

So if you want a quote that shows Burns promoting himself go back and read his OP. When he says one of his friends trained the guy and the other supplied the sling, he's not being proud of his friends or promoting them, he's promoting himself by association like he always does. It's not my fault that you refuse to acknowledge what everyone else sees.

Video of the moment they stopped Uvalde Officer Rubin Ruiz from advancing on the classroom where his wife had been shot. He had gun in hand. Other officers are seen stoping him. This is the guy who is seen in other images looking at his cell phone, with what some claim is a Punisher logo on the screen.

Looking at it closer, it lacked details of the logo, appeared to be an building interior picture. Maybe.

Dosen't seem like he put up much resistance to being turned around from going to go get his ole lady.
Or had much desire to get on down that hallway in a rapid manner other than a gesture of it to save face...

It appeared to me that he'd been previously warned not to interfere/engage. His attempt at moving forward appeared somewhat expected. My take assumes they intended to keep Ruiz out of the fight because of how close he was to the events, namely his wife being an injured hostage. Officer Ruiz may have reluctantly consented to this earlier— to letting his brothers in arms respond on his behalf. Then he had to endure what amounted to no response, despite being sidelined. In short, while there was no consensus on engaging the shooter, there was consensus on keeping Ruiz out of any such engagement.
