Looking for a VX-2 or older variant of the 3-9x33 efr scope for on a rimfire. Looking for matte finish. I’m not a fan of the newer VX Freedom version. I’d also be open to other similar scopes that will focus for up close shots.
Oh, and believe it or not, deer bite. Fairly hard.

You might consider Clearidge Optic's Ultra RM 3-9x32 with AO. I have one mounted on a .17 HMR and I really like it. Read the reviews on it on Rimfire Central.
