Light Modified in my Benelli M1S90 Tactical gives about an 8"-10" pattern at 25 yards with either the 00 or #1 Buck. By far I prefer the #1Buck for the extra pellets and denser pattern. With the #1Buck there are plenty of pellets that stay within 16" at point of aim to make that a killer load out to 35-40 yards.
Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

Really only one way to find out; on the pattern board. I’m very late to the party about this myself; never did any serious patterning until I decided to try a .410 for turkeys. Was kind of surprised that not only pattern density, but POI varies with both load and choke. Now I try to pattern anything I want to use for serious work like hunting. If I ever got serious about clays I’d test my stuff as well, but I don’t think any of the guys I shoot with ever do.
The information you get is well worth the time and expense.

I took my 870 and 1100 to the range today. Both have 20" barrels with screw in chokes and rifle sights. At 15 yards I had to zero the sights like a rifle. The "patterns" were fist size. The wad went through the hole too.

I usually use the standard velocity Federal flight control but a while back i had to buy the low recoil stuff. My standard house guns are Remington 870s 18.5 and a 20" cylinder choke on both. They'll put the entire pattern in your hat at 20 yards usually the wad goes through the same hole. Good ammo and I'd hate to be on the wrong end of it

I was patterning my Henry .410 with the modifed tube to determine if it would work for small game or clays. I also fired one of the Federal 5-pellet 000 loads at the same target at 30yards. All five landed in a group that I could cover with my hand, pretty impressive. Those are designed for Judge-like guns and I have no idea what the velocity is out of a 26” barrel, but holes are holes.
