Absolutely, stupendously, outrageously, incredibly and abhorrently insane.
Until truck prices drop by more that 50%, I will say the same.

This is why I buy 4yr old trucks.
Just broke in without the new vehicle depreciation. 4 year old pickup with 50-60k miles will cost you damn near what a new one does. With chittier financing

Bad part is all the anti pollution crap decreased the life and milage on the diesels. I have a 2019 Ram 3500 and I may delete it one day.

$56,670. That is the price for a new F 150.
What do you think? I think that's cheap. No air, crank windows, AM radio?

I have been out to buy a new truck 3 times over the last 10 years. I get sticker shock every time and walk away looking at my better looking old truck. Up to this point, I've held on to my '06 LT3 Crew Cab Duramax with 155K. Bought new in '06 for $42K. I want a new truck but absolutely refuse to give that kind of money for a _truck_.

The only reason they cost that much is because idiots are willing to pay that much. If everybody just sat tight for a while and the dealers get scared they are going to get stuck with them you'll see the price drop.

At 72 years of age, I can still build you a small, but comfortable home, for $56,670!
Lid wanted to buy a 1 ton, diesel, 4×4, extended cab to pull a travel trailer. $75K!
Hell no! That'll buy a blackland farm! I could buy the 35 acres across the road from me and still have change.

Dealer supply is hovering around 30 days, the lowest it's been in your lifetime. Dealers can't sell 'em all for a loss and make it up in volume. Manufacturers set incentives, and rebates.

Glad I bought a new truck in 18, has 24,000 miles on it now. It I don’t wreck it or have it stolen, should take me out! Mine came with lifetime warranty.

Four years ago, I bought an 06 F150 4 door 4x4 at a repo auction for $2700. Last month, I finally had to work on it. $90 lower pair of tie rod ends and it’s good as new!

What do you think? I think that's cheap. No air, crank windows, AM radio? it's probably fairly nicely equipped. My 22 F250 7.3 4x4 was $60k. Its got as much as you can get in the XLT line. But... I checked the dealer where I bought it 6 months ago and they had ZERO inventory in stock pf F250s. What are you guys going to do with all the money you saved when you get to where you are using Depends? I say Wabi should go for it. Beat on them a little, see where it goes. Life is short, treat yourself. Maybe eat dessert before dinner too once in a while.

And as soon as you get it. It is a used truck and probably lose at least 5 k off it as soon as you buy it.
Better buying something used.
Even used is outrageous.

Honk for Joey and his buckethead central masters.... Not necessarily, at least not yet. I'm pretty sure I could get what I paid for my truck. It's happening with quite a few people here.

Until truck prices drop by more that 50%, I will say the same. Yeah, about that, okay. Base price just over 10 grand (4x4 crew cab). Every available option including diesel engine - 13 grand. Tata pickup truck in Hyderabad, India. Toyota Hilux (all of them are 4x4 and diesel engines) base price 25 grand and every available option price of 34 grand. Again Hyderabad, India. If you think US truck buyers are anything but fools - you've probably never been very far from home.

If it's just a base model regular cab 2 wheel drive... Too much.
Super Crew 4x4 XLT, probably a green light! And what engine would you recommend.
