It's so hot the Statue of Liberty was asked to lower her arm, and Global Warming has changed to Global Melting.

Yesterday I saw a bird blowing on a worm before he ate it.

Longarm: One of my favorite Uncles (I had a lot of them!) always used to declare on when it was especially hot - "it's hotter than the hubs of hell today"!
I wish I would have asked him, when he was alive, what he was referencing (what are the "hubs of hell"?).
Anyway its a cool and comfy 56 degrees here this mid-morning (9:00 A.M.) in the Rocky's.
Supposed to get to a warmish 87 degrees here today.
Stay in the shade out there in liberal land.

A year or two I was at the range one afternoon and the dew point was above 80 degrees. Not much cooling going on.

I also got hot once or twice a year or two ago.

Was dreadful.

Hotter than.....................an Arizona summer. The rest is all second place.

I always thought that popcorn farts were utilized for comparing dryness.
