I'm gonna flag this thread for reference whenever I go to sell my optics.........according to this I have excellent taste in scopes......
Multiple offerings of Nikon monarchs, meopta meopros, and zeiss conquests.........seems to be the my standard choices....
A Steiner and a trijicon are the only times where I deviated.

The Japanese made Weavers,Nitrex TR2,Super Slams and Grand Slams are great scopes.I like the Zeiss MC and Meopta MeoPro too.

The older Zeiss Conquests. I like the 4.5-14 X 50 version especially.

Two things mainly: heavy, uncomplicated reticles and 3/4 tube rimfire scopes. Amen on the uncomplicated reticle.

That's a dandy. I'm generally cold to Vortex but the 1.5-8x32 Razor was another decent offering.

The original Redfield scopes, the straight tubes in particular.

338rcm: I would love for the fine folks at Leupold & Stevens Corporation to resume making the wonderful 8.5x25x40m/m variable scopes. These were/are (I have several of them) the finest "Colony Varminting" scopes I have ever used - and I have used, a LOT of them. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
