I already have my 1894 JM stamped Marlin .44 stainless and an 1894 22M JM stamped and an1895 .410 with adjustable chokes and now looking at a Ruger Marlin 1895 45-70 so no interest, just curious.
In my searching I came across these Levtac. Priced a little higher than I would have expected, but they look like they could make a decent ranch rifle getting beat up on the 4wheeler, in the side by side or behind the truck seat.
Has anyone ever handled one in .44mag or .454 casull? Looks to be a Rossi knockoff

I can't believe nobody has chimed in about these. Nobody on here has handled one? Even at a gun show? Legacy Lectac-92

Never seen that particular gun. I have a Chiappa takedown in .44 mag that is a sweetheart. If you're in the market, take a look at Chiappa and at the Winchesters from Miroku. The latter are pricey but very nice.
