Newsom and Lightfoot Beetlejuice would just light a match next to his oil slick head and start a CA wildfire.

Lightfoot won't.
Newsom is extremely dangerous and poses a very real threat of attaining the position.
He is polished, handsome, smart and articulate and the scariest politician of my lifetime. I have a hard time believing that he would get many votes in the general election from middle America. Would he have a problem winning the west coast? Not at all. Would he have a problem winning the northeast? Nope. But places like Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia would take a lot of heavy lifting for him to beat a decent republican candidate. I think a decent republican candidate would take Nevada, Arizona, and possibly even Colorado with a radical like him on the ballot who has turned his state into a septic tank.

Ever been to California? Other than perhaps some of the cities? The State is not a septic tank. The septic tanks of Cali are all in overpopulated metro areas. I'm going to bet there are some real "septic" tank areas in Louisville, Ft Campbell, Bowling Green, and Lexington too. A quick look on the internet shows the crime rates for those place exceed the National Average, as do large population centers of California. The State's issues are political and diametrically opposed along urban to rural lines. By area, probably 85-90% of the State is rural or at most suburban. Not septic tanks like large areas of the Metroplexes. It ain't as easy as it looks to just generalize about a State the size of Cali. ........................but, you're welcome to keep trying.
