Sad to hear the liquor store owner had a heart attack. That sucks. If he dies, that might actually mean a murder charge on the robbers. Regardless, I'm hoping he pulls through.

Don't know what kind of shotgun lets a robber run off yelling. Maybe it didn't have time to visibly bleed ?
If a shotgun like my 870 w/21'' barrel turkey gun shot him it would be a totally different outcome.

I don't think I'd ever want to own or even work at a liquor store. Why do these bad guys think they're easy targets? I especially like the ones where the sales personnel can lock the front door by a button under the counter. Granted, in this video, the store owner needs to increase his shot size.

He needed center mass...  The perp was sideways to the store owner when he got shot, with his arm covering most of his vitals. Id say he did pretty good at center mass. He probably had #6 birdshot or something like that in his gun. I would be glad to send him some #4 buckshot ammo.

And they were back on the street by sunrise. Not in Riverside Co. The report said he would be heading straight to jail from the jail ward when he is able to on $500,000 bail. Norco is Horsetown USA, last year, maybe 2020 the locals ran a BLM rally out of town. This liquor store is right around the corner from where my wife takes an occasional cutting lesson.
