that's the 4.7L Toyota I'm guessing Yep, But I think a couple other Toyota engines had the same dumb feature. I have one in a 2001 Tundra myself. The good thing is the originals last a very long time usually. I've known guys with trucks that had 200,000 miles on the clock with the original starter going strong.
