I just saw on his daughter’s Facebook post that Gary “Doc” White passed away. A lot of knowledge lost with his passing. Great guy and talented gun maker

RIP indeed. I never owned a White, but they must have been spectacular guns. Everyone that owns one speaks highly of them.

He made some super rifles , I owned a Super 91 .50 cal SS. Little while after buying it they stopped making guns. I should have bought 2 or 3 of those rifles.

Very sad to hear. I still own 6 of his rifles. I met Doc once when I bought a rifle from him. When I gave him my address to ship he said he was passing through my area and would bring it with him. I arranged to meet him at his hotel and picked it up. Very nice guy, wish I could have chatted more with him. R.I.P. Doc
