I just flat refuse to run a chainsaw in 100* weather. It'd have to be a hell of an emergency.
A guy I went to high school with paid for college by using a chainsaw to cut firewood then sell it and stack it by the cord every summer.
Almost took the end of right ring finger off 2 weeks ago getting liveoak into the woodlot. Its knitted up nicely. Gonna leave helluva mark! 🤣
Gettin’ too old for this schidt. But damn this is some good lookin’ live oak!

Spent a couple of hours running the chainsaw yesterday afternoon to get rid of part of a magnolia tree that had come down in a thunderstorm next to my house and a huge red oak that was blown down a couple of months ago. I felt like a low rent stripper as I peeled off soaked clothing when it got too wet. By the end I was down to my underwear and a pair of polyester running shorts. It wasn't a dry heat, that's for sure.
