For sale is an original Ruger "Deerstalker" carbine .44 Mag from 1962. Low serial #. One of the 3750 made before Ithaca sued Ruger for using the trademarked name.
It is in very good condition. Blue is excellent. Nice walnut with some figure. No cracks I can see but a few impressions/dings. It was a one owner gun supposedly. Excellent bore. No evidence of a scope being mounted. Does not look like it has been dis-assembled.
I have not fired it but was told it functions well. I don't believe it has seen much use.
I am looking for $2100 shipped lower 48. If I am over pricing this, I will probably just keep it. It is the best one I have ever seen. It has a lower serial # & more figured wood than this one: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/934212503
No trades or electronic payment but I am fond of original Winchester 25-35's & 44-40's in nice condition.
If it cools down later, I will try for more detailed pics.

I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Bump for CBinNH, I've purchased 3 firearms from this gentleman. In all three items each one came in better that pics and his words described. Deal with confidence. You won't be disappointed
