I’m selling a super clean Thompson Center Cherokee muzzle loading rifle. This was T/C’s slimest and lightest side hammer traditional black powder gun. They are hard to find in nice condition and they’re a joy to shoot and hunt with.
This rifle is 45 caliber, with a 1 in 66 barrel twist for shooting traditional patched .440 diameter round balls. Accessory barrels are available in .32 and .36 caliber if you look for them.
The condition on this gun is excellent, and I’m not really sure it’s ever been shot. Finish on both the walnut stock and the blued barrel is original and fully intact. Brass trigger guard and curved butt plate. The bore is clean and bright. Case coloring on the lock is bright and vivid. Original wooden ramrod with brass tips. No extra holes, repairs, or bad surprises. You’re going to have to search for a long time to find a nicer example of this scarce model.
Price is $625 shipped in the lower 47; sorry, no sales to California.
This gun can be shipped directly to you without an FFL.
Payment by Postal Money Order ships immediately, personal check will be held 10 days.
First solid “I’ll take it “ followed by a quick PM wins.

Nice!!! I always though it would be really fun to shoot one of those in .32 or 36 caliber.
Love my TC Hawken in .54 cal. It’s amazingly accurate!
