I went to a small gun show on Saturday, kinda looking for a pistol . There was about a dozen 99 s there, two different dealers, one was a friend I'd not seen for a couple of years. Said it was time to sell off some of his personal guns. I bought a nice 99 T from him, in very nice condition. But for the williams side mount scope. & Weaver K3 Has the correct T rear sight. numbers all match. I did see that the butt stock numbers had a T stamped below them, not noticed that before. Gun dates 1937&38 set me back 800.00 I'm very Happy with it!

If that is the one you bought, and I am sure it is, you have a nice rig to hunt with. Keep it and enjoy it.

Ha, I saw the G, he said he was holding it for someone! Very nice rifle! Yes the T I bought will be hunted with already replaced the weaver, with a 4X Leopold. There was another savage guy there, Named Nick, also!
Nice rifle, good thing he had Phil hold it as another collected, saw it when I did ! Phil had a nice CD 308 in the box, that caught my eye too! He always has nice guns.
